On 5 April 2017, One Plus Capital ltd (OPC) hosted its Annual Wealth Management event for its clients and investing public at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia.  

Topics and discussion at the event covered current trends in global investments including equities, fixed income, mutual funds and alternative investments.

The current world economic environment and investment opportunities in the global economy were also reviewed and appraised.

Keynote speaker Dr George Theocharides, associate professor at CIIM, highlighted key economic features of global economies an investor should consider with reference to anticipated short term expectations.

A presentation was also delivered by the chairman of OPC, George Philippides, giving an overview of the main investment services of OPC and the way they can assist and facilitate investors to optimize their decisions.

Special reference was made to the role of provident funds and the introduction of One Life Partners (OLP) Provident Fund, a horizontal multi-employer provident fund catering for employers and employees of the private sector. OLP is managed professionally by OPC and offers a choice of globally diversified investment strategies for its members, depending on their expectations and risk attitude, to meet their current and future needs.
